If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

If I could meet any historical figure, I’d choose Katherine Howard.

She was so young, vulnerable, and completely overwhelmed by the world she was pushed into.

Her life became controlled by people far more powerful than her, and she was treated terribly.

I would only ask for one thing — to give her a hug. To offer her the choice, the comfort, and the compassion she probably never had in her short years.

She wouldn’t have to explain herself or anything unless she wanted to.

I’d just let her know she has never been forgotten, and that today she is seen with far more sympathy, understanding, and humanity than she ever received in her lifetime.
